see if there is a janitors supply company in your area...some carry industrial strength hoses.
you may want to check your water pressure. get A cover for your new hose.
This is the best garden hose I have ever purchased. I actually have 5 of them now. They are so light, but sturdy. I used to have an industrial red garden hose that was so heavy to haul around, until I found these: Flexzilla

We live in AZ... I just bought my husband one of the metal garden hoses... I am hoping it holds up to the hype... Youtube had several reviews on it... and our Walmart had the 50 footer in stock... so no shipping.
Note: we spend more for our hoses (no-kink around $35 each) most of them have lasted over 2 years... but they are starting to need replacement.
get a industrial heavy duty one from HD or Lowes. some of these have a long term warranty
We have found that the contractible hoses are made of a fabric and that fabric disintegrates over time, defeating the purpose . There is no real hose inside that fabric, so no, i would not but another of them again, waste of $$.
Yes, get an industrial or janitor's supply hose, they do hold up.
