You may need a new breaker or if necessary have an electrician come in to take a look at it. If your home has fuses they also break down over time. You also may be overloading the breaker with too many appliances being used at the same time.
Check to see where these are located, then do some investigating as to what is plugged into the outlets for those areas. You usually cannot plug in a hair dryer and a curling iron on the same circuit.
With the influx of so many electronics over the past few years, it is a wonder we don't all have this problem.
If you can't locate the problem, call an electrician. It could be almost nothing, but it could be serious.
my mom and dad had the same problem and the electrician had to replace the actual breaker switches and Yeah! all OK they are not to expensive. Be careful not to play around with the switches. You do not want a fire
SAFETY first! Call a licensed electrician. It could be a simple fix, but by all means have it looked into and corrected as soon as possible. Be safe and best wishes.
bets are that you have too many thing plugged into that circuit. check to see if you have 4-10 major sources of electrical demand on that breaker. Hair dryers? electric tooth brushes? hair curlers? you know...
Call in an electrician if you don't know what you are doing!
