Try this..... you will need cuticle scissors, and a small bottle of fabric adhesive.. such as Fabric Fusion or Aleene's Flexible Stretchable fabric glue and a small circle of fabric from a hidden area of the couch... it needs to be at least 1/4 inch larger than the cigarette hole... after the burnt edges are trimmed from the hole....
Use a pair of cuticle scissors to trim around the burn hole....
Insert the fabric circle under the burn hole and smooth flat...
Apply a small bead of glue under the edge of the burn hole and onto the fabric circle... not too much.... use straight pins or a weight to hold the fabric layers tight to each other until the glue dries... use plastic wrap to keep the glue from sticking to the weight.
