Please help - I unsuccessfully propagated two succulents

I cut the top off two plate size echieverias and laid them on the patio table in the shade. About 4-5 days later I repotted them, I mixed cactus/succulent soil with perlite. Two days later the leaves started drooping on both plants, they have now completely drooped. I am so disappointed and hate to lose these two beauties. Does anyone have tips for growing succulents from cuttings?

Just keep taking care of them, they may have just gone into shock. I did some jade plants recently, if you do branches instead of leaves you have to let them form a scar for a couple weeks before planting them. They looked like shit! I was nervous but they look great now. With echeverias, each leaf could potentially form a new plant. Maybe take them inside, it's pretty darn hot here, that probably won't be helpful to them if they're in shock. I had a pot i forgot outside last winter and everything froze, but when spring came around they took off. I was really glad I sorta forgot about them so I hadn't emptied the pot yet. They actually have tall flower stalks and they had never flowered before. So you never know 😁 I'll cross my fingers for you

They can still recover. Keep them in the shade and keep them spritzed lightly to stay hydrated. Did you cut off the ends before planting them?
Take cutting let scab over in the house away from the sun. 3 days or so
Lay on soil in window.Only mist. Easy with the water.
I never just leave stuff laying out for 4-5 days for repotting unless I wrap roots in wet paper towels with plastic over it. Chalk it up to learning experience. Keep them, they may recover.
