You will need to decide if you want to keep the same kitchen layout, where you want your appliances, if you might want new appliances, what you need for cabinets and counter tops, what kind of flooring, counter tops and of course--how much is this all going to cost! Normally if you keep the same kitchen layout it is less expensive than changing things like water lines, sinks, and electrical.

If you have to ask - that means you need assistance and can't do it yourself. You can take your measurements and existing electric/plumbing to Home Depot - make an appointment with their kitchen designers. Depending on your budget, you can get what you need and they can install, if you need it done. We have done 2 kitchens with them - but we did all of the work and they did the floor plan and helped us buy the cabinets to fit the space.
