Rhiannon Lives on May 26, 2014If you like Black Eyed Susan, you will love Gaillardia. Gaillardia looks very similar, but with many different colors, and is compact growing. I call them mini sunflowers because their faces always follow the sun. They are also hardy perennials. Easy to grow, kids are fascinated by them. Blooms all summer and loves the heat. One of my favorites, and would be a great border or companion to Black Susan or Shasta Daisies that grow taller.Helpful Reply

Louann Crum on May 28, 2014DUH! Never even thought about black eye susans....although I have tons of them in my established flower beds. Mine never get as tall as these. So excited to have a new variety to add to my collection! :) Thanks everyone for pointing out what they are, this is why I love Hometalk!Helpful Reply
