Put cinder blocks, one on top of the other, and paint them. Also turn the scalpe side upside down for an even look. Wash them good before you do this.
Lots of great ideas in that link up there..we used concrete stone edging from Home Depot years ago and it has held up beautifully...there are many to choose from if you check it out..a larger stone works better than the smaller ones as it gives a good divide between lawn and flower/beds...
