I would love to know the answer to this myself. Our kitchen linoleum has cuts in it like this all over it and I'm afraid we'll just have to replace the entire floor! I hope not, though.
Not much you can do with that short of replacing it.
You could tape or glue it if it's peeling but that is a short term solution. replacing it is the long term solution.
Pull your stove or refrigerator out and cut a square from the floor and match it on top of the torn piece. Take a razor knife and cut the old piece out and glue the new piece in that spot with contact cement. If you cut it right , you will never know where the patch is.
Do you have any pieces left from the original installation. A flooring contractor may be able to piece and patch it, so it will not show. PS.... Always save some next time.
