If you have a dishwasher, toss the glasses in there and put a bowl right side up on the top rack of the dishwasher. Put about 1 cup of white vinegar in the bowl, then run your dishwasher on a regular cycle. The vinegar will remove all of the water spots and your glasses will sparkle. If you don't have a dishwasher, simply put the glass in a sink with some hot water and add the vinegar. Let the glasses soak until the water is cool enough for your hands. Rinse each glass and put on a rack to dry. Again you'll get sparkling glasses. Wishing you the best.
If the glasses are not etched, Plain white vinegar will do the trick. Scrub the glass or let soak in vinegar then rinse.
Soak in vinegar and water, they will look like new. Then wash with dish soap.
