Mini blinds need help!

I have one used to work fine, now it works only in one direction,the other direction stuck

The little gear that is on top probably broke. Mini blinds are so inexpensive. Just replace it. I found some brand new ones at Habitat for Humanity for $3. All sizes.
It is definitely a the gear it has happened to me a few times. If you dont want to replace them, go buy the gear from your local blinds store and replace it yourself. Only costs a few dollars and you dont pay for lsbour which costs a bomb.
Agree with Dee. Mini blinds are one of the lowest cost of window coverings readily available. There are also so many different manufacturers that I would not count on 'replacement parts' being compatible or fitting.
