I am unclear as to what to do with this part of my house, "The Breakfast Nook".
Maybe place a large picture or mirror in front of it.
Hi Laura, it depends on where it is. If it's in the kitchen, hang some thing like a linen calendar, or some tapestry. If it's in your hallway, cover it with a vertical picture, it doesn't have to be someone in the house. You can also hang a wall design, it can be a vertical of some type of decoration. Put tape on the back (scotch), so the back is on the circuit breaker, to keep it flush with the breaker.
I don’t know what kind of panel you have but......try to find a cover that fits...there is danger here......I’m an electrician.....safety first....
put ad in paper...don’t use anything except ready made cover......
Here's a pic of our service panel in the kitchen, We cut a piece of pegboard slightly larger than the service panel, painted the pegboard, and glued 4 magnets to the back. I hung lightweight pictures on the pegboard. The magnets hold the pegboard on the panel. The pegboard easily lifts off the panel when needed. I do also agree with Stones regarding safety first.
