Help! Where do I begin?
So, I don't have any help and almost no skills when it comes to DIY, home repairs, upgrades, etc...where do I begin, especially with going through boxes and stuff to get rid of things, then organizing what's left.

You start with one box at a time and make decisions about what you might want to keep and what you might want to throw. You consider what you might want to buy for storage--bins, crates, shelves and where you want to put them. If you have many boxes consider what rooms these items might go into, what space you have available, and work on one room at a time. If these items have been in boxes for a long time I always tell myself "if I haven't needed it for this long then I probably don't really need it"!
This is perfect. Thanks so much, Gk!!!
