If I use contact paper on bathroom counter, do I seal with a poly coat
If I use contact paper to cover my bathroom counter and backsplash, would it be best to put a poly coat over it? I wouldn't think midge podege would work.
If you do any amount of cooking, contact paper will not hold up over time with constant cleaning, even if you are diligent and use many cutting boards. My vote is to go the paint route.
I painted mine. The pictures show the only worn place. It’s been over 2 years. I am getting my stuff to fix these areas now. It is right at the high water usage. Other parts of countertops look great! I have a post you can see pictures. Good luck:-)
In short, no on the contact paper. Possibly on your counter. We need to know what your counter is made of right now. There are some great products out there, but they come with a price. If it's laminate, you might be surprised at how inexpensive it is to change the laminate on a counter top.
No way! Won't last. Rustouleum or Giani countertop paint kit.
