How to get my pennies to shine?

I have tried vinegar and salt to clean my pennies but it's not working. Any other ideas?

Try a soda. Allow coin to stay in soda overnight.
Try soaking them in ketchup overnight. Weird but it usually works!

Yep! Ketchup works. Regular Coca Cola also.
Try hot sauce as it is supposed to work on copper.
Kathryn, you might want to try copper polish if you aren't getting the results you want.
Toothpaste - I know it sounds weird but it cleans copper and silver perfectly.
