Can I use pallets for a patio floor?

We have a 10 x10 concrete slab just outside our home. We are wanting to put up a canvas gazebo. We don’t want it right against the house, a few feet away. Very low on money and thought pallets would be less expensive. Is it possible?

Pallets are not made to last - especially outside and they will just fall apart in a few months. You would be better off buying some pressure treated wood made for outdoors.

  Check out the different kind of pallets - I know there are some out there that will hold up better than others. I do not know where to find them, but you might do some research in your area for a company giving pallets away that are PT.

If it were me,I would look for an inexpensive indoor/outdoor rug.
