Steam cleaners vs. wood laminate floors
I have heard that the home floor cleaners that use steam can AND cannot be used on wood laminate flooring. Is it dependant on the type of laminate? Or how much water it uses, or what?
I was told the laminate I chose was good quality but I see where it lifts up if a spill is not caught soon enough.
Please advise.

There is not much "wood" in laminate flooring. People easily confuse real hardwood with wood "look" laminate. The manufacturing process is different for each product.

Do not use steam to clean laminate flooring, or sluice it with lots of water before scrubbing. It will cause warping.
