In short it will need to be dismantled and partially rebuilt. The rockers will need to come off, the legs removed from the seat, replaced with longer ones at the desired length and new rockers will need to be used to account for the wider spread of the new, taller legs.

Would you post a pic? How high are you trying to raise it? I am wondering if you could add a platform rocker base to the existing legs and the hardware needed to make it rock will. The other thought is to take off the rocker runners only and make or have new ones made that give you the height that you are looking for. This pics show wider rocker runners and a platform rocker for brainstorming
