What are some easy diy ideas using scrap fabric?
It can be for gift ideas, home decorating, crafts or kids crafting projects. I teach arts and crafts to the children at my church but it often draws out the teenagers and young adults as well. Thanks in advance, Kimberly.

You could make mini quilts by cutting scraps and arranging them on card stock. One Xmas I made all quilted Xmas cards!
the first thing that popped into my head is a folded star. they are fairly easy and can be small or large. Here is a link to help you think about it.

You could have the older ones make braided rugs in their favorite colors for their rooms. I used to love it when my kids were little and they made the potholders on those little square looms. I still have one that one of the kids made and doubled it and stitched two together and I use it like a trivet to this day. The young girls could make simple clothes for dolls using the washable fabric glue. The older ones could even make doll clothes to give to the younger ones for birthdays or Christmas. There is a million things they can make.
Pin cushions. Patch pieces together to make stuffed animals. Pillows.
If you are into rocks, you might want to try making one of your own ocean stone bath mat using pebbles. This is one of the easiest pebbles decorations to make and also requires little time. Take a rubber mat, add two dozen stones or so and you have a beautiful looking bath mat in your bathroom. To secure the pebbles and make them attached to each other, use silicon; nothing beats its power.
And one more idea is to use a real map (you can get from here https://www.1dea.me/) of your travel places as a picture on your wall.

Make Collage of scraps or make a picture or pattern using them (Whilst at school, I make a picture of Sir Frances Drake using paper, but I see no reason why it could not be done with fabric ). Cover large plastic toys and make an ornament. Cover a box for keepsakes. etc.
