I want to paint 2 wicker chairs.
They have been power washed and are free of paint. Is it better to paint with a brush or spray paint? And, do I use a primer first?

Spray paint. You’ll find yourself standing on your head if you try to brush paint. I would use Kilz, especially if you will use them outside, even in an enclosed porch. Give a final coat or two with oil-based polyurethane. Best wishes, Chu. ☺️
I concur. Spray paint for this job. Wicker has so many nooks and crannies. Just remember to go with several light coats. Best to do this job outside.
Have never painted wicker but I would use a primer first then a good top coat or two of paint. Find a place inside for the chairs during the winter - they will last longer.
