How do I recover marble top coffee tables
I have two heavy marble top tables that are too formal for my home. I love the base and legs but need a different top. Any ideas to cover marble?

Interesting question! Is the marble removable? You might be able to sell it for a few dollars, marble is highly coveted by some. What is the style you are looking to achieve? Would a wood or glass top be more appropriate? What about painting it?

Thanks! I doubt I'll paint it but I'll see if the marble top can be removed. I saw an interesting table with a repurposed wood door covered with glass top. I can save at least $500.
