You can get one-way reflective window film, but it doesn't work at night when the lights are on..... you can get privacy film, but it restricts vision both ways.
The covering I like the best is diamond-shaped Contact paper. It completely covers the glass. If you cut out a tiny diamond in the right place for each family member, that will be your private peephole. Keep a bright front porch light on, and keep a low light in the foyer, you will have privacy and visibly onto your porch. Best wishes, Fra. ☺️
