Shed painted! Now what?
Finally got the backyard shed painted! It looks bright and clean but its kind of boring. Any suggestions on how to brighten it up? There are no windows on it.

Such a cute shed. I would start by painting the trim a contrasting color. You can also find an old small window or two at a flea market and hang them in place to look like there are windows there. If you did this then you could also put a small box under the window(s) and plant a few flowers. If the window idea does not work for you you can find some cute outdoor wall decor at a hobby store and hang on each side section. My suggestion is to go with a them if you decide on the decor. Good luck with your project. I think the trim paint will make a huge difference to start with.
It looks nice and bright. I think I would add an accent color. Perhaps one that will match your house. Maybe add a wreath on the doors. Think of it as a tiny version of your house and add “curb appeal” in the same way!
What about using an accent color on the wood surrounding the doors?
Maybe do the trim in a bright color? Or just the doors. Depending what your style is. This look like Shabby Chic, I love this.
You could paint the trim around the doors and around the perimeter of the shed in a barn red or deep mossy green. Add black barn door/gate hinges with a black latch. Hang an old porcelain/enamel outdoor light (same color as trim) above or beside doors, even if it's not wired. Maybe add a small vertical barnwood sign beside one of the doors. Good luck!
You could pick a theme. Paint the trim pieces a nice color and add metal signs to the outside of the shed.
