How to replace stairs & railings to the porch & the porch railings?
The stairs and railings to the porch are in bad condition and the railings along the porch are mostly non-existant. They need some repair or total replacement before someone gets hurt on them.

You can make these repairs yourself. You can either build the railings or buy pre constructed railings. If you cannot do it yourself you can hire it done.
The stairs and railing for them should probably be #1 on your list. this is not really a job for an amateur. And there are bldg codes for the height of railings. I just took these pictures from my house. There are four different styles of railings here. The first pic of the porch with steps was done by the householder. The two on the right were done by carpenters. Ours is the one on left bottom, these came with the house and were repaired by my husband. You could have trouble with your house insurance if your railings/stairs are not up to date.
