Marigolds, rosemary, lavender or fencing that also goes underground, with netting atop, to completely enclose the area, and sturdily affixed to posts with wire or something they can't chew through. Hardware cloth makes a good fence, albeit not a tall one, unless you're willing to wire sections together.
Hot pepper spray. Get the hottest peppers you can find in your local supermarket. Place them in a pot and fill with water. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover and cool. When cool drain the liquid into a spray bottle and throw the peppers out. Use the spray around the perimeter of your blueberries. I recommend using disposable gloves when handling the peppers and water.
Thanx Olivia, Iplanted marigolds, but the rabbits love to eat the flowers right off I think I will get hardware fabric next year. Too late for this year !
HOT PEPPER spray – Rabbits, squirrels, deer etc. https://oldworldgardenfarms.com/2018/06/21/homemade-hot-pepper-spray/ if you can find some of the liquid 'hot sauce' that is straight Ghost Pepper or Carolina Reaper -- not with vinegar/salt/etc; One called 'Devil's Tears' is one of the 'Stupid Hot' varieties -- but be VERY CAREFUL using any hot peppers -- you can buy hot pepper FLAKES in bulk at W-mart or a Hispanic grocery if you have one in your area.
