Age it!!! It will have a beautiful turquoise color. Use plain white vinegar, I put mine in a spray bottle, mist the table - sprinkle with salt. You can do this inside, but sunlight speeds the process. And you can repeat as much as you like for more patina.
Please do not paint over brass! Love it for what is or age it as one reader suggested. Or sell it to me😍
