If you do any construction good but tHis might be too much but I would tear out the wall and put in 2 or 4 bar doors on a sliding mechanism. Good luck
Google “framing a doorway”. If this is a project you feel you can do, research the easiest way. I would only cut the wall open - and ditch the stupid 32” door, if I had a clear plan.
My concern is that this might well be a load bearing wall.
