Can anyone explain what this surveyor's peg means?
I would like to clarify who owns the fence that separates our property from our neighbors. There is a peg that is some type of marker among three properties. Does it mean the actual boundary is within 0.3 m of this mark? or is the mark itself the boundary? any clarfication would be helpful. thank you
these two sides point toward the two neighbor properties.

Hello Iris, Consult your House Deeds..........
Looks like it could be your neighbors Fence
Iron Pipe Wood Trellis .30 feet. Looks like property marker is under fence and surveyor was unable to mark actual location because fence was in way.
Pcr27039700 is most likely correct. the surveyor could have placed a pin flag at the iron pin and flagging around the pin as well. the sign is not the corner for sure.
There is an iron pin buried below the white post. The wt means that it is a witness to the actual property corner which is .3 away. There should be more writing on the post to tell you in which direction it is. It should be along the same line as the property line.
Does any neighbor have the original survey with drawings and measurements indicated on same?
Depending on where you live, you might be able to go to the Hall of Records and get all that info.
