How to store two tubs of books?
I read a lot and have two tubs full of books and probably more coming. My home is not that big and trying to think of a unique place to have them. They are in my basement at the moment. I have no where to put a bookcase except in my basement. Any ideas please?

Under your bed? In a closet? Can you install shelves somewhere? Or pick up second pieces for your basement.
Actually, this is a good question.... If I have a room to build bookcases (and I do), what can you do in expensively but make it look outstanding?
Stack cinder blocks with planks in between for an inexpensive fix if basement is moisture free.; or pile same- sized books, put a round or square piece of wood that you paint or stain on top & use as side tables next to chairs or as a display.
We had a small home once and we solved the book problem by hiring a carpenter to build an in the wall bookcase. It really didn't take very long for him to construct it and it was a lifesaver.
I bought wooden crates, painted them, and attached them to my bedroom wall. (Make sure your screws go into studs or they won't be sturdy enough to hold the weight of your books.) You can streamline a row of them or you can stagger them. You can do the same on the floor if you don't want to attach them to a wall. And you can use various sizes. Your possibilities are endless! :)
