You can use a barn door, sliding door, bi-fold door, etc. Don't know what would work for you.
I think a normal interior door should work.
Usually people use bi-fold or regular sliding closet doors for reach-in closets.
If you use a regular door you can put a mirror or hooks on the back for jewelry, belts, scarves, etc.
A barn door gives you more space in the actual closet, but less wall space on the outside of the closet.
A pocket door slides behind the wall, leaving you wall space in the room, to hang paintings (with Command type hooks) or to place furniture. It would be my choice if the rest of the room isn't large, or furniture placement is difficult.
A barn door wouldn’t work because of the sloping ceiling. Thanks!
If there's room in your closet make the door open into the closet not outside it!?
