Weed or plant
I have two groupings of these and I'm not sure what they are. I don't see any buds yet. Weed or flower?? Anyone recognize them?
From the pic it almost looks like a small variety of sunflower.
I would think it's a young Black-Eyed Susan budding out.
Looks like a Black eyed Susan. Maybe a stray plant from a neighbour's garden or from the garden store if you added new plants.
Black eyed Susan or Rubeckia, they spread pretty easy. Love them
A weed is any plant that you don’t want growing. So technically it would be a weed. However if you let the Black Eyed Susan grow, it will be a flower. :) it is absolutely one of my most favorite flowers. They do well in terrible soil and good soil. 😃
It is a black eyed susan. I have some in my flower beds.
I agree black eyed susan
Black eyed susan love them❤️
Hi Virginia,
It looks like a sunny black-eyed Susan. Once it has established it self, they are easy to Separate into new clumps, or to transplant. They will also self-seed. Enjoy!
