Put Some type of substitute lock on front door
My front door has the hole for the lock no lock I just simply need a substitute type of lock to lock my front door for a few days until I can get to store

If you can go out a different door, prop the back of a kitchen chair at an angle under the doorknob. Make sure legs rest on a rug so they have something to grip.
