They could craft their own thank you cards to use in the future. They could decorate a mirror or picture frame (and maybe create the artwork that gets framed.) Let them pick out some Dollar Store containers, paint them whatever color they want and organize their closet and room.
Have them help build a raised bed veggie and herb garden. I bought a cedar raised bed kit at the Christmas Tree Shop for $20. The kids can put the soil in and do the planting. Then they can water and weed and learn about gardening. Bonus - they'll want to try the veggies they grew themselves!

Thanks Linda. As much as I hate to admit it, I finally broke down and found an easy slime recipe for them. (Boy I hate that stuff!!) I'm sure they will love it though, lol. Now to keep it out of the carpet???
