What size is the furniture and where are the windows and doorways?
Without knowing the answers to Rose's questions, I would advise having the table for eating in the top section of this picture next to the balcony door and the living area in the bottom rectangular section. I would put a TV in the lower right corner at an angle against the 180 cm wall by the door -- mostly facing the 334 cm wall. That is where I would put the seating - either sofa or corner sofa, possibly a chair and coffee table as a grouping. If you have a window covering on the 255 cm wall, there will be no glare on the TV screen. As you know, you can always move furniture!
Where is the entry located? Which wall leads to the kitchen? Is your sofa a sectional or a traditional sofa?
Without knowing where your windows, doorways and kitchen are, here are some “best guess” suggestions: It looks like you have a balcony, yes? Consider creating your dining space in the small open rectangle part of your floor space. You will have access to your balcony from the table. That leaves you a long, narrow living area of about ten by twenty feet ( converting centimeters to inches and inches to feet). Consider putting your tv on the 332 cm wall with your sofa positioned in front of the tv for viewing (if the sofa is not too big). You will have balcony access from this area. Consider a sofa table behind the sofa. Consider using the space at the opposite end of the room as a conversational grouping with a couple of chairs, a small end table, and perhaps a bookcase or etager in the corner. As you know, an open space like yours benefits from a good flow and coordination of colors and furniture styles. Again, these suggestions are made without knowing critical locations of all doors, windows, and your kitchen, but perhaps they can serve as a “ jumping off” point. Good luck!
I would use the top of the “L” for the dining area, then use a buffet piece facing the dining area to back a sofa facing your living area, and proceeded from there. Hope this helps
Thank You all for your answer and suggestions :)
I have marked the door and windows on the drawing, attached a projection with the layout of the rooms in the apartment and the furniture we are thinking about (we have not bought yet).I also attach current photos of the room :)
The corner sofa has the dimension: 203/268cm (could be left or right-sided), and the folding table: 180-240/90cm.
good answer from everyone-just make sure your dining room is somewhat close to the kitchen (door?) so that you don't have to walk far to serve
What do you think about such furniture arrangement? we like brick walls, you think they would fit into this interior - they will not optically reduce the room?
