How do I cover holes on my wall and paint over them?

First try white tooth paste. .I now use white out. . They both work. .my son gave me some Elmers hole filler. .it comes in a tube. .I had a small cut in my kitchen floor. .the rug had white in it. And white out covered it . Amazing. ..Good luck. .
Get a small container of spackle or white putty to fill the holes then the walls can be painted. Good luck in the cover-up. :)
You can buy tubes of hole filler which is like spackling, fill the holes, smooth it over with fine sandpaper and paint over it. Thats how I repaired the holes in my walls when renting an apartment.
I used white wall enamel, but nothing showed. I would think you could use spray paint as long as you are good at even spraying without leaving drip marks like I do lol!
