Look at the color of your dirt? Is it dark ,red or sandy?
remove all weeds. If dirt in dark/ that’s good just get a shovel and mix the dirt very good. Red add top soil, sandy add potted soil and top soil.

Planting? Allow 90 days from planting to flowering.....probably doesn't matter if you get a frost (if you get them) before they shoot
