How do I install a kitchen backsplash ?
My cabinets and countertops are installed now I need to do the backsplash. I have several outlets and switches. I’m not sure what tile I want to use yet but I want to go with white or gray or a mixture of both.

I used 4”x4” ceramic tiles, white color. Placed them on countertop with glue, then when dried bought blue grout to complete. Used a “C” shaped wood molding and painted it blue and secured it with glue to the edge of the countertop. I don’t have a picture to show outcome. But I painted the cabinets white and used blue ceramic knobs.
Hi Jackie. I'm Cindy. You begin by gluing your tiles onto the back splash. You should use spacers to keep everything level. Let them dry overnight. Next day comes the grout. You mix the grout and use a trowel to apply it on the tile. Move the grout around making sure that every space between the tiles are filled with grout. Let the grout dry overnight. Next day use a large sponge to take off all the extra grout. You will need a bucket of water to rinse the sponge often. Change the water often too. Good luck with this project.
There are so many options out there these days including peel and stick. There is also a backer board that is sticky that you can get at Lowes (or Home Depot). Here's the how-to link from the Lowe's site
