Try this
I would apply a thick coat of textured paint (Lowes sells it) that contains a sand/grit texture in a sand color on the entire wall. Then I would put a FEW scattered seashells, sand dollars, driftwood, starfish, etc. to look like a Sandy beach. You might even try to put a few footprints on it.
Hi Barb,
Keep the Cabinet, it looks great!
How about a stenciled pattern on the wall with a couple of floating shelves to display your seashells, etc?
What about using a bench upholstered in a color or pattern that pops---like an emerald green or sapphire blue or turquoise. Then hang an oversized canvas with coordinating colors above the bench. Add a patterned entry rug that has some of the same colors and you're done! Good luck!
I would consider a beach scene photo wall mural. You can have a photo of your own made into a mural, or choose from thousands of different beach murals. They can be easily trimmed to size, easily applied to the wall and easily removed when you want a change. Just Google "beach wall murals" and there are thousands of sources , sizes and choices. Best wishes.
