My herbs did not produce well, I used miracle grow soil perhaps water?

Too much or too little sun, not enough water, or not the correct amount of plant food if you fed them. My basil plants bolted too quickly and I discovered it was because they had too much sun.

Hi Dan. Make sure the pot is also big enough. They could be root bound. I also pinch the flowers off of the basil once it starts to flower.

Definitely check into the amount of sun! I personally only use rain water to water my herb garden. I've had no problems and they do very well. Hopefully this helps a bit 😊

Most herbs do not prefer fertilizer.
