Hi Silvana,
Click here for a great article from SF Gate on how to paint a cork floor successfully. The article also contains painting other projects, but the process is the same. You actually start by sealing the current floor with shellac due to the porous nature of cork. All of the step-by-step directions are in the article. Wishing you a beautiful floor at the end of your project! - Linda
Hey Silvana! We know that Latex paints are stronger and more durable instead of oil-based paints. Using a trusted brand is also worth the investment when painting such a big project. We also recommend looking for porch or interior floor paint.
Oil based paints are the most durable, latex tends to peal. Paint over shellac.
