How do I remove paint applied to leather.
I have two real leather armchairs that used to be a mustard yellow. They were painted over with brown leather paint. They are starting to wear and the yellow is emerging as is the brown paint peeling. Love the chairs, Help please!

I think it would easier to just repaint them with the brown leather paint than to remove the old paint.
Paint ‘em! ☺️
Hi Laura you have other options besides repainting. If you want to start from scratch because the paint is peeling easily I would suggest you do that. It will help to make the Paint or Stain wear better.
Below are links to Staining, Removing and determining what kind of paint was used on the chairs. Good Luck.
