If it is not on the lawn you can use a mix of pure vinegar and a little salt. Do not use on the lawn as it will kill the grass.

f it is on your lawn you could spot spray with just the 5% vinegar but it will not work as well and will still kill the grass around the weed. Do not put the salt in as over time the salt build up in the soil.
My husband uses store brand weed-and-feed, and just throws it by hand, wearing gloves, where the problem areas are. I think watering after is important. And while spring was best, it maybe still ok to do. It worked well for us.
Not for lawns -
This is not an exact science – approximate measures are totally fine 1 gallon white vinegar and cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
@Barb Klotz, it's worked so far for me on spotted spurge - the bane of my existence! Round Up doesn't even even keep it away. If they aren't near any plants you could also pour boiling water on them
