We made this table and a matching bench and would love some feedback. The bolts are shiny. Please help us age them. Thanks.

Get a rustoleum bronze spray paint. Spray it in a paper plate and brush the paint on bolts. Fast and easy.

You could also paint over them with some bronze paint.

Stained glass supply stores online sell a product called PATINA. It comes in Black, old brass & copper. I would go with the black. Make sure surface is clean and free of grease. Can use a small wire brush then wear plastic gloves & mask. In well ventilated area Paint bolts with the patina. Let dry. May take two coats. I suggest using a sponge disposable brush. Read the directions before using.

be sure to post before & after photos!

Lysol blue toilet cleaner will age them. I put galvanized tin on my laundry room wall and I didn't want it shiny so I took the panels to the driveway, squirted the tin and used a brush to spread it. Left it on the sun for a couple of hours. Rinsed it off. Shine gone. It works great.

Dixie Belle also makes a patina that you cold use. Their products are great.
