Re: our new bungalow: Would a white quartz marble counter top look good with white cupboards. We thought of grey walls but wondering about white walls. Only problem we have a cream sofa. Look forward to your opinion

I recently read an article about going with too much white in the kitchen. They recommend adding some color. According to these decorators, all white is on the way out.
That said, choose what you love.
Regarding the cream sofa, if you add pillows and a throw that incorporate white and cream it could look intentional.
I think the white counters would look great.
I personally love neutrals and don't think you need to use color if you don't want to! I would love white cabinets with white counter tops, maybe with some flecks of silver in them. Then light or medium gray walls. I'm a black/white/gray kind of gal. Perhaps you could do a dark accent for the back splash, or maybe even an accent wall with dark paint. I love high contrast. Btw, lovely room :)
you could still use grey paint if you went with a 'warm' grey and not a cool shade ...then incorporate a similar shade for pillows/throw on your sofa ..
I love the look of your bungalow as is. If I were to change anything I would paint the walls a light grey , the ceilings throughout would be white as well as molding and doors. I would change the flooring in the kitchen to a white marble or marble look. I am assuming that your countertops are black and I love them, but if you wanted white quartz that would look fine because you have a backsplash between the counter and cabinets. I have to repeat, I love your bungalow! Best wishes!
