Best wishes to you!
They last if you keep them in the fridge. If you don't like them cold, just keep a few out on the counter. When we lived in Naples, Florida, we had lemon, red grapefruit, oranges, mangos and avocado trees. We used to ship a lot to our parents here in MN. We always had lots of fruit in the fridge. The grapefruit alone was much larger than a softball and the avocados were up to five pounds (the trees were huge)! The avocadoes were over the carport and sounded like a bomb went off when they fell off the tree. Our oranges and grapefruit kept for a long time in the fridge.
