I always use Elmer’s wood glue
Did you have a more specific question? I am not sure what you are asking.
I use Gorilla Glue for my wood working projects and more often than not I clamp my projects until I know the glue is dry.
There are commercial wood glues labeled as "wood glue". They are usually thicker than regular school type glue and when used can be stained successfully along with the wood that it is used on. Search at your hardware or home improvement store for clearly makred "wood glue".
I use Titebond wood glue. Used others and didn't like them.
