What kind of bank? ....piggy bank, retaining earth bank,?
Hi,
I think you need to provide a little more information about the type of bank, what you want to accomplish, what your skill set is, and your budget. Then someone can really help you.
I'm figuring your speaking of a change bank aka piggy bank?
Easiest thing to do is to use an empty plastic jar that has been cleaned after having held peanut butter, mayonnaise or something. all you have to do is unscrew the top, drop in your change and when it becomes full trot it down to your local bank and deposit it. Majority of banks have a change counter if you do not count it yourself and the service if FREE!!!
I hate throwing out alot of containers that some of my commisary foods come from some of them have just beautiful shapes and pretty designs on them so I am always contemplating what to do with them.
I've used them to build flower boxes. By using cement (regular mortor or glass cement) I am able to create walls to join the pieces into one cohesive section. Another thing I've found to do with them is to break them up into small pieces; and if you have a variety of different colours it is really great to use as if they were mosiacs, any large pieces can be used as abstract art pieces.
Sorry I do not have any photos but, I've not done it recently. Those are just two ideas that really come out beautifully. It is very time consuming and you really need to wear protective gear if you are going to break up glass.
