How to attach cork to foam board?
Large area on side of full length book shelf. Trying to attach square cork board pieces. Double-sided tape pieces that came with cork board did not work.

Spray adhesive specifically for foam works great. You can also use 'rubber cement' on both the shelves and cork.
If it is a permanent feature I would use "no more nail" or here is a link that might help

Rubber cement would make it permanent. Brush on both sides, bookcase side and back of cork, let set to just tacky..... then place, it will be stuck for good when they touch, so make sure they are properly lined up.
I would use hot glue or if you need something stronger... construction adhesive. You can buy it at the craft store in a small tube.
