How can we make shower hose more flexible?

Our plastic shower hoses are very stiff even though we’ve had them for a year and a half. We had the same trouble with the metal ones. They have a mind of their own, even when we’re holding it and directing the stream. Does anyone know of any hoses we can get that or more supple ,more flexible? Or is there something we can do with these besides dump them in a fit of rage? And, I tried to post a picture with my comment two times. The little thing just goes round and round and round. This is the third time. Making me nuts -so here.

Bernice, after looking at several videos I determined that the chrome hoses seem to be very limber, but the plastic ones (like yours) are stiff. Go into a store and see if the metal ones are more like you want.

I'm a caregiver and have installed many hand-held showers, I always choose the flexible metal ones, and have purchased replacement hoses for older units to swtich them out, usually in the plumbing department. I use a few turns of teflon tape on each end before screwing on to prevent leaks.
The degree that a shower hose is flexible is proportional to the price and quality, with the lower end plastic choices being lighter and stiffer. Hoses at the higher end are longer. Their weight and design keeps them from springing up, kinking, or twisting.
The problem with the hose however stems from the situation that is it being used to function as both a fixed shower head, and a removeable hand held wand. The most effective way to fix the frustration of the hose that does not stay in place is to install a dual system that has a separate fixed shower head, and a separate removeable hand-held wand.
There are many styles available, here are three examples.
I concur with Rose about your hose being plastic and very short. These can be replaced with metal ones that are longer and made with interlocking components.

You should try flexible metal. I can suggest you to check Shower Head Reviews and guides ... they have a nice review on this subject, maybe you will find what you are looking for. In general this site is very useful, they have nice reviews on different subject form dishes to printers. I have recently moved into a new house and this site helped me to find a lot of useful things for it for example dishes sets, shower heads and so on. I think such sites are very good because helps you to find a neccesary thing with a good quality and at good price.
