I am removing self stick tile from a linoleum floor. What can I use to wash the linoleum floor with that would remove the leftover adhesive. Thanks so much!!
Mix flour into soapy water to make a paste, then slather the paste onto your counter top. Then apply plastic wrap over the top. Leave for an hour to overnight, then just wipe with a sponge, and the stains will pull right out
Try baking soda.
Depending what the stain or unknown substance is, try that Mr. Clean magic eraser. I have had great results in the past.
A paste made of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide works well. Mix just enough peroxide to make a damp, almost crumbly paste. Too much and it will begin to foam. Apply to tiles, let sit for 15-20 mins. Wipe off with a wet, wrung out cloth . This was a formula given to me by a dentist for toothpaste (yes!) without using the wrung out cloth,
of course! it's also a great cleaner.
I will try all your suggestions if number one fails! Thank you all.
