How do I make cedar look aged?

Pet, time will make it look aged. That is what made the other cedar look like it does. If you put anything on it, itwill never match the original cedar.
Find a little inconspicuous spot (by the railing?) and brush on some vinegar. See if that does it. Good luck.
You could try staining it. I soaked a piece of steel wool, (found with sand paper, NOT SOAP pads like Brillo or SOS) in a jar of white vinegar overnight. Use the piece of steel wool, a rag or brush to apply to the new wood. Let dry. If it isn't dark enough apply an additional coat. The longer the steel wool is in the vinegar the darker the stain. You could practice on a scrap of the lumber you used to fill in around the AC.
I used this method after seeing a post here on Hometalk, to make a sign I had made from new pallet wood look like an old weathered board.
